Our Mission

Providing quality Science and Technological Education for the population living in the eastern corridors of Northern Ghana and beyond, from Basic to Tertiary. Some specific missions are:

• Ensure need-oriented and modern technology-based education
• Generate skilled and quality manpower in order to achieve a knowledge and technology based society
• Ensure a quality and high-standard educational environment
• Undertake fundamental and applied research in relevant fields of human knowledge
• Arrange seminars, conferences, workshops and training for teachers and staff

Our Vision

The vision of Northern College of Science and Technology is to create skilled manpower through quality science and technologically based education and research to fulfil the future needs of the country — for the establishment of a peaceful and prosperous Ghana — by producing high-caliber graduates with the knowledge and expertise to support the health, industrial and socio-economic development of Ghana and Africa, with Science and Technology as the foundation.

Some of the specific visions for the next ten years are:

• Develop adequate infrastructure facilities to enable the smooth running of academic activities
• Accumulate as much as 500 students
• Increase the number of faculties and subjects
• Establish research laboratory and library facilities of international standard
• Produce competent teachers, lecturers and researchers in respective subjects
• Publish standard books, journals and periodicals
